Description: |
This relatively straightforward Par 4 poses real difficulty from several different angles- from the tee you encounter the perfect placement of a bunker in the center of the fairway causing the danger of choices. Tree-lined on the both the left and right sides and with a slightly right fading fairway creates the possibility of your drive going through the fairway into the hazard. The approach has it’s own set of fears- hazard left and long, wetlands directly in front and the sand trap laced right protects this small sloping forward green. |
|
How to Play It: |
Your target off the tee is the fairway bunker located right down the middle. Big hitters will try to knock it over with a driver as the down hill slope will leave a short iron approach shot. If you choose to lay up, choose the left side of the fairway bunker. This will leave you 180 to 200 yards down hill to a green that is protected by bunkers right and hazards short and left of the green. |
